Muhammad Farooq Qamar is 38 years old law graduate working in public sector since year 2000, started his career as IT Consultant in private sector later joined public sector in software and web related field. He Completed his law graduation from the prestigious University Law College (ULC) of University of the Punjab, Lahore. He qualified Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) at Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) and joined the provincial premier service i.e Provincial Management Service (PMS) in 2010 and successfully completed IIIrd Post Induction Course for PMS probationers in Governance & Management from Management & Professional Development Department Lahore (MPDD). After completing the training served in various capacities as PMS officer i.e Assistant Commissioner, Deputy District Officer (HRM), Administrator Tehsil Municipal Administration, Secretary District & Regional Transport Authority (DRTA) and as Special Judicial Magistrate(SJM). He also worked as frontline manager in the field of public administration and played a key role in implementation of government laws and policies. He has rich experience in execution of rules and regulation. He also acted as First Class Magistrate and remained involved in judicial and quasi-judicial work. While working as Special Judicial Magistrate he conducted summary as well as regular trials under various special laws i.e. building and town planning laws.
